XUYAMBA Banya
Location
San Diego
XUYAMBA is where it all began — our first large banya, and a true legend among those who’ve experienced it.
One side bursts with vibrant graffiti, while the other remains deep black — a reflection of its dual nature: calm and grounding on one side, playful and wild on the other. Inspired by the energy of festivals, this banya carries stories from the places it has traveled.
It has been to Burning Man three times, Utopia three times, and many other gatherings — standing strong through rain, dust, and wind. It has warmed, protected, and brought people together in the most unexpected environments.
Built from aromatic cedar, the interior is filled with the scent of wood, herbs, and venik. A powerful wood-fired stove with over 500 pounds of stones creates an incredible reserve of heat and rich steam for everyone inside.
With a 150-gallon water capacity, XUYAMBA can run autonomously for days. Designed for large-scale experiences, it can comfortably serve 100–200 guests in a single day — without losing its heat, energy, or soul.
